Rather than holler about a premiere that hinges on false rape accusations and slavery apologism and bring more attention to a bad series, we’re going to give that visibility to some organizations dedicated to helping survivors of rape and human trafficking.
I spent a bit of time hemming and hawing over whether to write this review or let it go as a sequel, since it technically is one. On the one hand, I don’t get paid if I don’t write it. On the other hand, this show is really really ugly and bad.
Boogiepop and Others is a show that requires active viewing. Either way, I’m interested to see what it’ll do.
This first episode sets up a surprisingly sweet nostalgia piece; a love letter to the bonds that form between people thanks to games.
A lack of fiction that portrays varied, healthy sexual relationships often leads to a lack of understanding, especially among younger audience members, about how to engage in those relationships safely. This is why I was overjoyed when I found the manga Horimiya depicting a kinky relationship with a healthy separation between reality and fantasy.
Hey, KyoAni fans! Are you ready for more pretty people with shiny hair looking downcast while working through their past traumas? Because Tsurune is here and it is just about joyless.
Merc StoriA has monsters that look like Eevees. Highly recommended. Review concluded.
The first episode of Conception is a bit like bad sex: a whole lot of build-up you don’t really enjoy that doesn’t even pay off with a decent climax.

IRODUKU isn’t offensively terrible. It’s just boring and bland and thoughtlessly retreads the same insidious tropes as everyone else.
Lost Song isn’t very well-animated and the script leaves a lot to be desired, but damn if it doesn’t have some potential to go into interesting thematic territory.
It was really only a matter of time before this happened. That doesn’t mean it should have, though.
Maybe Run with the Wind will be the inspiration I need to stick with my plan to get into running, because I’m certainly sticking with the show.
Recent series like How NOT to Summon a Demon Lord and Death March to the Parallel World Adventure make the generally-inoffensive nature of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime feel refreshing and innovative.
You’d expect the first episode of an anime named after an influential philosopher to either be smug, pretentious pap or full of intriguing, thought-provoking questions about the meaning of life, the universe, and everything. However, RErideD isn’t really either of those things. It’s just kind of… there.
Wow, what a cute, innocent little slice-of-life anime about a girl and her dragon. I’m sure it won’t go terribly awry in some way…
The prognosis for Last Hope, frankly, is not good
