What western media would you like to see get an anime adaptation?

There’s been plenty of announcements recently about anime being remade by American filmmakers, but what about the reverse? What western works are perfect for the anime aesthetic?

What books, series, movies, etc. would make perfect anime?
What formats would you pick (series, film, OVA)?
What existing anime based on western source material are you a fan of?
