What do you look for in an inclusive merchandise store?

Team Rocket stands behind a booth wearing their shopkeeper's robes. James leans against the counter, grinning, while Jessie and Meowth stand to either side, looking at him and smiling.

AniFem’s first ever crowdfunding campaign goes live on 1st December! You can register your support on our pre-launch page now!

Part of this campaign means merch—both exclusives for fundraiser contributors and, in the future, an ethically sourced store.

As we explore avenues to provide those things (don’t worry, it won’t be Amazon) we want to hear about your favorite feminist-friendly merch sites: stores that are gender-inclusive, provide a wide variety of sizes, include models of color and trans models, and don’t exclude disabled customers.

We can learn from them, and other folks can check out some cool links. Win/win, right?

We’d also love to hear about your general problems when shopping for merch. The goal here isn’t to drag any particular company, but to get ideas of what to avoid when setting up our own storefront.

We Need Your Help!

We’re dedicated to paying our contributors and staff members fairly for their work—but we can’t do it alone.

You can become a patron for as little as $1 a month, and every single penny goes to the people and services that keep Anime Feminist running. Please help us pay more people to make great content!
