Sunday was a very frightening start to the week for trans folks in the United States, with news of a push to legally eradicate protections for trans individuals. In the UK, fights are going on to reform the Gender Recognition Act, which demands difficult and outright demeaning requirements to have one’s gender recognized.

Suffice to say, it’s been a rough month. So this week, this space is for our trans readers.

Are there any steps you’re taking to protect yourself that you think would be helpful to others?
