The new project will include Pokemon from all regions, from Kanto, to Johto, to the new Galar region that will be explored in the upcoming Pokemon Sword & Shield games on the Nintendo Switch.

The Pokemon anime made its debut on Japanese TV in April 1997. The title, which is based on The Pokemon Company’s game franchise of the same name, has since gone on to spawn more than ninety anime and manga adaptations.
