It’s a tale of teen awkwardness and classroom antics.

On October 7, fans of Dengeki’s light novels flocked to the “Dengeki Bunko 25th Anniversary Autumn Dengeki Festival” fan event. During the show, news broke that Rakuda and illustrator Buriki’s Ore wo Suki Nano wa Omae Dake ka yo (Are You Really the Only One Who Likes Me) light novels will get an anime TV series.

An official website and Twitter account for the project opened their doors, which feature a key visual and trailer, plus the first confirmed cast and crew members. We break the details down below.

The 75-second promo opens with a slow crawl of the title’s announcement, before cutting between static color images from the light novels. The teaser ends on a shot of the new visual.

Rakuda and illustrator Buriki’s Ore wo Suki Nano wa Omae Dake ka yo light novels launched under ASCII Media Works’ Dengeki Bunko imprint in February 2016. The title currently spans nine compiled volumes, with the latest shipping to shops on July 10.

The title spawned a manga adaptation by Rakuda and illustrator Yū Ijima, which launched in Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ in February 2017. The series currently has two compiled volumes at market, with the latest shipping to stores on March 2.

Manga resource Baka-Updates describes the title as:

Question: What would you do, if a girl you’re interested in would confess to you? On top of that, what if there was another girl as well? A cool upperclassman adored by the whole school and your cheerful, energetic childhood friend. I bet you would be over the moon. Thing is, what if there was an unexpected problem about the contents of that confession?
