Anime Boston announced that musician and actor MIYAVI will attend their 2019 convention as a guest. He is the con’s fifth confirmed Japanese guest, and the thirteenth guest confirmed in total. He joins the following:

Takamasa “MIYAVI”Ishihara has been active in the entertainment industry since 1995. Through his career, the artist, who’s gained the title “Samurai Guitarist,” has released eleven studio albums, and hosted seven world tours. In the anime sphere, MIYAVI performed Kokkoku theme song Flashback, as well as several insert songs.
As an actor, has seven film roles under his belt, including Byakuya Kuchiki in the live-action Bleach and Gunpei Ikari in Kong: Skull Island.
Anime Boston will be held from April 19 – 21 at the Hynes Convention Center.
