Isekai Cheat Magician Cast Adds Yurika Kubo

On May 4, the official Isekai Cheat Magician anime website updated with a new cast reveal. The series will add the following:

  • Airy: Yurika Kubo

Isekai Cheat Magician will hit Japanese TV in July.

 Isekai Cheat Magician Anime Visual -Daisuke Tsukushi will direct the project at Encourage Films, with Shuji Maruyama (Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D’s) providing character designs. Takayo Ikami (Yurikuma Arashi, Beautiful Bones: Sakurako’s Investigation) is in charge of series composition.

The confirmed voice cast includes:

  • Taichi Nishimura: Kōhei Amasaki
  • Rin Azuma: Rie Takahashi
  • Myura: Minami Tanaka
  • Remia: Sayaka Ohara

Isekai Cheat Magician began as a light novel series by Takeru Uchida and illustrator Nardack, which launched under Kadokawa’s main imprint on June 28, 2013. Eight volumes have been released to date, with the most recent hitting stores on May 31, 2018.

The manga adaptation debuted in Kadokawa’s Shonen Ace magazine in 2016. To date, three volumes have been released, with the latest shipping to retailers on April 26, 2018.

As regular high school students Taichi and Rin disappeared in a beam of light. When they came to, the two of them were already in a world of swords and magic. Finally getting away after experiencing an attack by monsters, following the suggestion of adventurers they headed on the path towards the guild. In the guild, the two of them found out that they possessed unbelievably powerful magic. Thus the regular high school students transformed into the strongest cheats…
