Hitori Bocchi no Marumaru Seikatsu Anime Gets New Trailer & Visual

Earlier today, the official Hitori Bocchi no Marumaru Seikatsu anime website updated with a new trailer and a key visual. We break the details down below.

Trailer

The two-minute teaser introduces the main characters and basic premise with character dialogue, set to a series of clips from the show. Theme song Hitori Bocchi’s Monologue kicks in at the 52-second mark.

Key Visual

The image features the top half of lead character Bocchi Hitori’s head, looking down off-camera. Above, various idealized between her and the major characters appear in thought bubbles.

Hitori Bocchi no Marumaru Seikatsu hits Japanese TV on April 5. The full broadcast schedule is as follows (All times JST):

  • MBS: 4/5/2019 at 26:25 (4/6/2019 at 2:25AM)
  • TBS: 4/5/2019 at 26:25 (4/6/2019 at 2:25AM)
  • BS-TBS: 4/6/2019 at 25:30 (4/7/2019 at 1:30AM)
  • AT-X: 4/7/2019 at 21:30 (4/7/2019 at 9:30PM)

Hitori Bocchi no Marumaru Seikatsu Anime VisualTakebumi Anzai (Go! Go! 575) will direct the project at studio C2C, with Kii Tanaka (Hinomaru Sumo, Cheating Craft) pulling double duty as character designer and chief animation director. Jukki Hanada (Love Live! franchise, Nichijou – My Ordinary Life) is in charge of series composition.

Opening theme song Hitori Bocchi’s Monologue will be performed by Chisaki Morishita, Minami Tanaka, Akari Kitō, and Yūko Kurose. Ending theme Ne, issho ni kaero. (Hey, We’ll Get Together Again) will be performed by Chisaki Morishita.

The confirmed voice cast includes:

  • Bocchi Hitori: Chisaki Morishita
  • Nako Sunao: Minami Tanaka
  • Aru Honjō: Akari Kitō
  • Rakita Sotoka: Yūko Kurose
  • Kako Kurai: Kana Ichinose
  • Kai Yawara: Konomi Kohara

Hitori Bocchi no OO Seikatsu launched in the pages of ASCII Media Works’ Comic Dengeki Daioh “g” magazine in 2013. The series currently spans four volumes, with the most recent hitting stores on February 26.

Katsuwo is also the author of Mitsuboshi Colors, which received an anime TV series in January.
