On March 12, an official website and Twitter account opened their doors to announce that Riku Misora and Sacraneco’s High School Prodigies Have It Easy Even In Another World! (Chōjin-Kokoseitachi wa Isekai demo Yoyu de Ikinuku Yōdesu!) light novels will get an anime TV series. A trailer and visual for the project, along with the main cast and crew members attached were revealed. We break the details down below.

The 83-second promo introduces the show’s world and characters through a series of rapid cuts set to a sweeping melody.

Key Visual

The image features Tsukasa and Liruru standing back to back against a view of the new world behind them. A dragon soars by the massive moon in the sky.

Staff

Shinsuke Yanagi (And you thought there is never a girl online?, Ro-Kyu-Bu! SS) was tapped to direct the project at studio No.9, with Akane Yano (And you thought there is never a girl online?) providing character designs. Deko Akao (Arakawa Under the Bridge, My Roommate is a Cat) is in charge of series composition.

The confirmed voice cast includes:

  • Tsukasa Mikogami: Yūsuke Kobayashi
  • Liruru: Yūki Kuwahara
  • Ringo Ōhoshi: Rina Hidaka
  • Shinobu Sarutobi: Natsumi Hioka
  • Keine Kanzaki: Hisako Kanemoto
  • Aoi Ichijō: Sayaka Kaneko
  • Prince Akatsuki: Shizuka Ishigami
  • Masato Sanada: Junji Majima

The series will hit Japanese TV in 2019.

Riku Misora and Sacraneco’s High School Prodigies Have It Easy Even In Another World! (Chōjin-Kokoseitachi wa Isekai demo Yoyu de Ikinuku Yōdesu!) light novels launched in 2015 under SB Creative’s GA Bunko imprint. Seven volumes have been released to date, with volume eight shipping to stores on March 14. A manga adapatation by Misora and illustrator Kōtarō Yamada launched in Square Enix’s Young Gangan magazine in May 2016. The series spans six compiled volumes, with the latest hitting retailers on January 25.

Yen Press holds the rights to the title’s manga incarnation, and describe it as:

Seven Japanese high school prodigies have taken the world by storm, exercising their mind-blowing abilities in everything from politics to entertainment. But when their plane crashes one day, these geniuses awaken to find themselves in a different realm-one that’s home to magic and beast folk! While such strange new surroundings might throw an average person for a loop, these prodigies take their situation in stride…and then some! With the greatest minds and talents known to Earth, this dream team is about to turn the other world on its head!
