“Egao no Daika” Anime Gets New Key Visual & Mecha Visuals

Mecha fans have something new to smile about today!

Earlier today, the official Egao no Daika (Prince of Smiles) anime website updated with a key visual, as well as visuals for the show’s main mecha.

Egao no Daika will hit Japanese TV in January 2019. WOWOW, Tokyo MX, and Yomiuri Television will all carry the show.

Prince of Smiles VisualToshimasa Suzuki (Dance in the Vampire Bund, Rinne no Lagrange: Kamogawa Days) will direct the project at Tatsunoko Production, with Naoto Nakamura (High School Fleet) providing character designs. Shinichi Inotsume (Gangsta., Hayate the Combat Butler!) is in charge of series composition.

  • Yuni Vanquish: Makoto Koichi
  • Lune Vanquish: Junya Enoki

The series is being produced to celebrate Tatsunoko’s 55th anniversary.
