This touching tale will be revisited once again.

Earlier today, Kyoto Animation started streaming a new teaser trailer for the upcoming Violet Evergarden anime movie project. The 97-second promo opens with narration against a soft piano melody. At the midway point, character dialogue sets much of the tone, as the music swells. All the while, animation footage plays as an accompaniment. The promo ends with a confirmation that the film will hit theaters in January 2020.

A visual for the film depicts Violet walking with a letter, as roses seem to follow as they stretch from off-camera.
