Earlier today, the official The Hero Is Overpowered But Overly Cautious (Kono Yūsha ga Ore TUEEE Kuse ni Shinchō Sugiru) anime website updated with a new teaser trailer, as well as the main cast members attached to the project. We break the details down below.

The Hero Is Overpowered But Overly Cautious will hit Japanese TV in October 2019.
 100vw, 212px”>Masayuki Sakoi (<em>Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online</em>, <em>Celestial Method</em>) will direct the project at White Fox, with Mai Toda (<em>Girls’ Last Tour</em>, <em>Matoi the Sacred Slayer</em>) providing character designs. Kenta Ihara (<em>Saga of Tanya the Evil</em>) is in charge of series composition, and is writing the screenplay for the project.</p>
<p>Light Tuchihi and illustrator Saori Toyota’s <em>The Hero Is Overpowered But Overly Cautious</em> light novels launched under Kadokawa’s Kadokawa Books imprint in February 2017. The series currently spans five volumes, with the latest shipping to stores on November 10, 2018. A manga adaptation by Tuchihi and illustrator Koyuki launched in Fujimi Shobo’s <em>Monthly Dragon Age</em> magazine on November 9, 2018.</p>
