It appears that Sirius is taking a rocket to stardom this July.
Earlier today, Warner Brothers Music announced that rock group Kishida Kyoudan & The Akeboshi Rockets will perform the opening theme song for Sirius the Jaeger. The song, titled Sirius will be released as a CD Single on August 22.
The group has previously performed theme songs for seven other anime shows, including GATE, High School of the Dead, and Hakata Tonkotsu Ramens.
Masahiro Ando (Sword of the Stranger, Under the Dog, Snow White with the Red Hair) is directing the project at P.A. Works, with the team of Mai Matsuura (The Betrayal Knows My Name, Pretty Rhythm All Star Selection) and Soichiro Sako (Magi: Adventure of Sinbad) providing character designs. Keigo Koyanagi (Regalia: The Three Sacred Stars, The Rising of The Shield Hero) is in charge of series composition.
