Spring is in full bloom, though this tale won’t begin to bud until the fall.

Earlier today, an official website and Twitter account opened their doors to promote the upcoming Bloom Into You (Yagate Kimi ni Naru) anime TV series. A key visual, as well as the first staffers for the project were revealed.

We break the details down below:

Key Visual

The image features lead characters Yuu Koito and Touko Nanami standing back-to-back, their hands reaching slightly toward each other. They’re standing in a pool of water, which has two lilies floating near them.

Staff

Makoto Katō (Beautiful Bones: Sakurako’s Investigation) is directing the project at Troyca, with Hiroaki Gohda (Please Teacher!, Amagami SS) providing character designs. Jukki Hanada (Love Live!, Sound! Euphonium) is in charge of series composition and writing the scripts for the title.

Premiere

Bloom Into You will hit Japanese TV in October.

Nio Nakatani’s Bloom Into You manga launched in the pages of Dengeki Daioh in April 2015. The ongoing series currently spans four collected volumes, with volume 5 slated to ship to retailers on June 26.

Seven Seas holds the rights to the title in North America. They describe it as:

Yuu has always loved shoujo manga and awaits the day she gets a love confession that sends her heart aflutter with bubbles and hearts, and yet when a junior high classmate confesses his feelings to her…she feels nothing. Disappointed and confused, Yuu enters high school still unsure how to respond. That’s when Yuu sees the beautiful student council president Nanami turn down a suitor with such maturity that she’s inspired to ask her for help. But when the next person to confess to Yuu is Nanami herself, has her shoujo romance finally begun?
