Attack on Titan Season 3 Returns in April 2019; First Visual Revealed

The Scout Regiment will accept its next mission after a few months of leave.

Earlier today, Attack on Titan‘s final episode of the first half of its second season hit the airwaves. The end of the episode included a notice, which stated that the season will continue in April 2019. In addition, the official Attack on Titan anime website updated with a key visual for the new run, which features Eren standing in the ocean as he looks out upon the horizon.

Wit Studio’s official Twitter account also updated with an illustration by Mai Teshima, which features the full Scout Regiment in-uniform.

Attack on Titan‘s third season hit Japanese TV on July 22.

Tetsuro Araki (Death Note, High School of the Dead, Attack on Titan Season 1) returned as chief director for the project, while Masashi Koizuka reprised his role as director at Wit Studio. Kyoji Asano (Psycho-Pass) returned as character designer, while Yasuko Kobayashi (JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, Shakugan no Shana) reprised her duty on series composition.
