Interesting. I guess VRV or FunimationNow isn’t a must for dub fans this season.

Earlier today, Amazon updated with listings for two shows in Funimation’s SimulDub lineup. The following are available for purchase from the retailers:

Steins;Gate 0‘s SimulDub launched on April 30. High School DxD HERO kicked off on May 1.

Steins;Gate 0

Kenichi Kawamura (Rozen MaidenSoniAni: Super Sonico The Animation) is directing Steins;Gate 0 at studio White Fox, with Tomoshige Inayoshi (Battle Spirits: Sword Eyes) providing character designs. Jukki Hanada (Love Live! School idol projectSteins;Gate) is in charge of series composition.

Hanada was also in charge of series composition for the original Steins;Gate anime. Tomoshige Inayoshi was an episode animation director for the original series.

Funimation describes the series as:

A divergent continuation of the original Steins;Gate ending, Steins;Gate 0 explores an alternate worldline where Okabe abandons time travel. While attempting to forget past traumas and get his life back on track, he meets an AI that re-opens old wounds.

Yoshifumi Sueda (Rail Wars!) was tapped to direct High School DxD HERO at studio Passione, with Makoto Uno (Love Hina, Rail Wars!) providing character designs. Kenji Konuta (Saiyuki Reload Blast, Blood Lad) is in charge of series composition for the show.

Funimation describes the show as:

Season four of the High School DxD series! A war between heaven and hell is raging on Earth, and hormones are raging in Issei’s pants. Enter curvy Rias, a devilish class leader.
