One room, two seasons, and several new faces await today.
Earlier today, the official One Room anime website updated with new details on the show’s upcoming second season, titled One Room Second Season. A key visual, as well as new crew members and a première date were officially unveiled.
We break the details down below.

The new image features Mashiro Amatsuki, Yui Hanasaka, and Minori Nanahashi standing on a sunlit path.
Staff
Zero-G is producing One Room Second Season. Takuya Tani (Pandora in the Crimson Shell: Ghost Urn, Ms. Koizumi loves ramen noodles) will replace Yasuhiro Okuda as character designer, with Shinji Takasuka taking over as Art Director. Chieko Hibi will serve as Color Key Artist for the new season.
Premiere
One Room Second Season hits Japanese TV on July 2. Tokyo MX will carry the show at 25:35 (July 3, at 1:35AM)
Aose Shimoi (One Room, Room Mate) will return to write the scripts for One Room Second Season, while Tomohiro Yamada composes the music.
The confirmed voice cast includes:
- Mashiro Amatsuki: Inori Minase
- Yui Hanasaka: M.A.O
- Minori Nanahashi: Rie Takahashi
The first season of One Room aired in the Winter 2017 broadcast season. Crunchyroll streamed the show as it aired in Japan, and describes it as:
You are the protagonist. A new project in virtual anime from SMIRAL Animation that also brought you the “Anitore” series and “Makuranodanshi.” This time, the project is about 3 stories that develop in your (one) room.
