In/Spectre Anime Gets Visual & TV Spots, 9 Cast Members

Earlier today, the official In/Spectre anime website updated with a new key visual, two TV spots, and nine cast members. We break the details down below.

The series will add the following:

  • Bake-danuki: Hiroki Gotō
  • Bakeneko: Haruka Ōminami
  • Kappa: Yoshimitsu Shimoyama
  • Kodama no Genichirō: Nobuo Tobita
  • Komainu (Black): Manami Hanawa
  • Komainu (White): Kaori Motoyama
  • Nushi no Orochi: Kouki Miyata
  • Ochimusha: Yoshimitsu Shimoyama
  • Rikka Sakuragawa: Mayumi Sako
  • Ushi no Ayakashi: Yoshimitsu Shimoyama
  • Yama no Ayakashi: Rena Maeda
  • Yama no Ayakashi: Kaori Motoyama
  • Yōko: Kaori Motoyama
  • Yōko: Manami Hanawa
  • Yosuzume: Rena Maeda

In/Spectre will air in January 2020. TV Asahi, MBS, and BS NTV will carry the title.

Keiji Gotoh (Kiddy Grade, D.N.Angel) will direct the project at studio Brain’s Base, while Takatoshi Honda provides character designs. Noboru Takagi (Durarara!!, The Legend of the Galactic Heroes: Die Neue These) is in charge of series composition.

Both touched by spirits called yokai, Kotoko and Kuro have gained unique superhuman powers. But to gain her powers Kotoko has given up an eye and a leg, and Kuro’s personal life is in shambles. So when Kotoko suggests they team up to deal with renegades from the spirit world, Kuro doesn’t have many other choices, but Kotoko might just have a few ulterior motives …
