What are your favorite anime and manga rom-coms?

Kaguya-sama: Love is War premiered as a surprising winner by putting its two immature, combative leads on equal footing–an important and hard to nail element that makes the difference between a playful and creepy relationship. We figured, good rom-coms deserve more love for how hard they work.

  • What are your favorite anime/manga rom-coms?
  • What makes a rom-com (as opposed to a romantic drama) successful?
  • What series were almost there if they’d just changed one or two things?
