Do you watch OVAs?

OVAs (Original Video Animations) were a big part of the early English-speaking anime scene, but they’re generally less prevalent today for a variety of reasons. Do you still seek them out?

  • Do you or did you watch OVAs? What changed?
  • Are you more likely to watch self-contained OVAs (like Kase-san, Doukyusei, or This Boy…) or ones that are extra episodes of a series?
  • Are there things that OVAs can do that TV anime can’t?
