Trans Day of Visibility

By: Anime Feminist April 3, 201711 Comments

Friday 31st March was Trans Day of Visibility, so let’s take the opportunity to raise the profile of trans people in our fandom.

  • Which trans people do you recommend we follow on social media?
  • What are your favorite examples of their work? (Blog posts, cosplay images, tweet threads, you name it)
  • Are you a trans fan with work you would like to promote? Please post the links here!
  • As a trans fan, what changes would you like to see in anime and manga fandom to make it more inclusive and welcoming for trans people?
  • What kinds of stories would you like to see about trans people in anime and manga to increase and improve representation?

Thanks to our generous patrons we are now able to pay all writers! Next we need to be able to pay members of the team for their work behind the scenes, especially their time spent editing the work of paid contributors. If you appreciate our work, believe in paying people fairly and can spare just $1 a month please become a patron today

We Need Your Help!

We’re dedicated to paying our contributors and staff members fairly for their work—but we can’t do it alone.

You can become a patron for as little as $1 a month, and every single penny goes to the people and services that keep Anime Feminist running. Please help us pay more people to make great content!
