Your favorite conventions

Con season is winding to a close: Crunchyroll Expo had its inaugural outing, Otakon moved to a more spacious venue, and AnimeFest failed to account for the dedication of Yuri!!! On ICE fans. Now’s as good a time as any to step back and ask: what’s your favorite con and why?

  • If you’re a convention-goer, do you visit several per year, or pick just one?
  • What draws you in? Location? Guests? Panels? The surrounding city?
  • What are your best and worst experiences with con organizers?
  • What convention would you like to see the AniFem team attend in the future?

At this stage, we have raised enough money to be able to pay for contributed posts, behind the scenes admin, and audio editing for weekly podcasts. Our next goal is to pay the editors who have worked on AniFem as volunteers since before launch, making enormous contributions for no pay. Help us pay them for their work at a rate of $15 an hour by becoming a patron for as little as $1 a month!

We Need Your Help!

We’re dedicated to paying our contributors and staff members fairly for their work—but we can’t do it alone.

You can become a patron for as little as $1 a month, and every single penny goes to the people and services that keep Anime Feminist running. Please help us pay more people to make great content!
